Beef and Pork Minced Meat Cutlets

Beef and Pork Minced Meat Cutlets

Ingredients:

  • Beef minced meat – 300 g
  • Pork minced meat – 300 g
  • Onion – 2–3 pcs.
  • Stale white bread – 2 slices
  • Milk – 50 ml (if not available, water can be used)
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Salt – 1 tsp.
  • Black ground pepper – ½ tsp.
  • Vegetable oil – for frying
  • Some butter (optional)

Preparation:

  1. Soak the bread in milk for 5–10 minutes. If milk is not available, water works too.
  2. Peel and finely chop or blend the onion.
  3. Combine the meat, onion, bread (slightly squeezed) and egg.
  4. Add salt and pepper, then knead well. Tip for juiciness and shape: add 1–2 tsp of cold water and knead until elastic.
  5. Form the cutlets, gently pressing with your hands.
  6. Heat a pan with oil over medium heat. Optionally, add a little butter.
  7. Hack for golden crust: sprinkle a pinch of salt on the cutlets and don’t move them for 3–4 minutes.
  8. Fry 4–5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  9. Cover and simmer 5–7 minutes.
  10. Serve hot with your favorite side dish.

Grandma’s tip: “If the cutlet sticks to the pan — don’t be upset, it just wants to be in your hands too!”

Enjoy your meal! ❤️
